Please also treat the house with the same respect that you would show your own home. I have put a lot of effort into making the house a beau:ful place where our guests feel comfortable.
If something is unclear, please contact me so that I can explain it in more detail and avoid misunderstandings.

House Rules
- Please put the toilet paper in the bin, not in the toilet
- No smoking in the house
- Don’t go on the rooftop, as there is no railing and it is not safe.
- Save water – the house has 2 cisterns which need to be refilled, and unfortunately it is not connected to the water system of Lo de Marcos
- Electricity is pure solar and should be adjusted to the availability of sunlight; please try to use energy intensive devices mostly when the sun is shining. Switch off all fans and lights when you leave the house.
- Internet: the Starlink internet receiver is on the roof and should not be moved (connects to satellites); the router is normally situated between the 2 bedrooms; if you want to move it from there you can unplug it and plug it to another location (be careful to pull the cable from the rooIop receiver to that other place, too)
- Please wash your sheets and towels yourself on a longer stay or bring them to a laundry place; cleaning lady will only do the cleaning of floors, kitchen and bathrooms, no washing.
- Garbage disposal: bring your garbage in locked bags to the village main garbage place, beneath the baseball field (campo de Beisbol), on Francisco I. Madero Road, or to any other garbage place in LDM. Organic waste put in the small plastic container with yellow lid, to reduce the amount of flies in the house, and only before bringing down the garbage put it in the bigger bag.
- Make sure that no leftovers are on the surfaces, inside and outside, as there will be ants coming in immediately; better store all food in fridge or freezer
- On the end of your stay:
- please remove all bed linen and sheets and put them together with your used towels on the couch; if towels are sill humid hang them on the clothesline.
- leave the fans in the 2 sleeping rooms running on low
- lock all house doors. The garden gate can stay open.
